Known for its ever-expanding list of collaborations and partnerships, G-Shock teamed up with Robert Geller for his Fall/Winter 2015 presentation at NYFW.

The event marked the second time the German-born fashion designer has worked with the timepiece brand, following his Spring/Summer 2015 show that also featured models rocking the MT-G metal watch.

“When I think of G-Shock, I think of quality first,” Geller says in the filmed interview above. “It’s something that is sort of indestructible, and still has a real sort of elegance and strength and kind of masculinity that comes with that kind of toughness and quality.”

Those characteristics are very much in line with Geller’s collection, which drew inspiration from two of the greatest fencers in history: Aldo and Nedo Nadi. But above, Geller says it’s the craftsmanship and attention to detail that really connects his brand to G-Shock.

“The parallels between the MT-G watch and my brand is that, I think it starts with quality,” he says. “Producing in Japan, for the watch and for our clothing, really gives a great sense of quality. There’s really just a real pride in the production over there and the way things are made. That’s essential to me and to my customer. When people buy a piece from Robert Geller, I want them to have it for the next 10 years and to be really happy with it.”

Take a look at several of the images documenting Geller’s NYFW journey—from casting to the day of the presentation. There is also a supplementary video above in which he discusses the second partnership and his admiration for the G-Shock brand.

The featured watches, the black and silver MT-G, are available at G-Shock’s online store and select retailers for $950.
