Mick Jagger has set up a scholarship at the prestigious Central Saint Martin college in honor of his late girlfriend, and fashion designer, L'Wren Scott. The scholarship will cover fees and contribute to living expenses for students attending the university for its renowned M.A. Fashion course. One incoming student will be awarded the scholarship in 2015, 2016, and 2017, starting this October.

Fabio Piras, the school's director of the fashion course, said, "I am very grateful to receive this extremely generous scholarship package." Even though Scott was never formally educated as a designer, a meeting between her and Piras' predecessor, Louise Wilson, at last year's British Fashion Awards left Scott impressed with the program.

Scott shocked the fashion world when she sadly ended her own life last year.
