Acne Productions is launching Curater, the world's first digital art exhibition system. Which is a fancy way of saying that Acne has released a state-of-the-art digital panel you can hang in your home that will display a curated selection of exclusive artwork throughout the year.
Acne will work with art institutions around the world to create six to eight full exhibitions throughout the year that will be beamed to the Curater device. The device is specially built to display artwork and "let people enjoy the true experience of an art piece," says Curater founder Johan Holmgren. Holmgren adds that this is "something no computer or smartphone can accomplish today."
Acne is sending out free Curater frames to 50 randomly selected people who sign up on this website.
