Melbourne, Australia-based street artist Rone's work has been seen on walls around the world, from Berlin to Taiwan, and we are impressed each and every time. His massive portrait murals of beautiful women are captivating and impossible to ignore, but there is more to the man than a fascination with the female face.

In this mini-documentary directed by Ryan Chamley of Robot Army Productions, Rone talks about his past as a skateboarder and how that culture, his work as a graphic artist, and competition with his friends led to an unexpected career painting murals. "The idea of doing street art and graffiti as a professional thing was like the idea of being a professional yo-yo player," he says in the video. "It's like it's not going to happen. Yeah, it's fun when you do it with your friends, but it was going nowhere."

The film is beautifully shot and shares more about Rone than his murals can, so it's definitely worth checking out. For more of Rone's work, hit up his Instagram profile.
