Taking pictures without much available light has always been a challenge. After all, the word “photograph” itself means “light print.” But the moments we want to capture don’t always occur under the noonday sun. They can happen at dawn, or dusk, or any time in between. So what to do about the conundrum of getting great pics without great light?

Luckily, the new Sony Alpha Cameras offer an amazing solution. They feature revolutionary technology that allows more light to enter the camera than most any other models—even when there’s not much light to speak of. This is due to the a7’s larger full-frame sensors; the larger the sensor, the more light that’s able to be drawn in—though the full-frame sensor’s many benefits don’t end there.

But seeing is believing, so rather than having us explain any further, check out the Sony Alpha low light capability in action in this really awesome short film, Now I See. And for more on the new Sony Alpha Mirrorless cameras, visit here.
