Men's fashion has come a long way. Since the '70s, also known as the dark era of jumpsuits and sequined tops, there's been no shortage of horrible men's style trends. Thankfully, those days are over and never to be repeated again—or so most of America thinks.

Esquire recently published the findings of a survey conducted by eBay Fashion, revealing the most missed, hated, and loved trends of past decades. 1,000 men partook in the study, but their answers may surprise you.

The Most Embarrassing Trend of the '70s, for instance? The mullet, according to these men. In the words of the Esquire writer, "Really guys? Most embarrassing? Not jumpsuits, platform shoes or… sequined clothing?"

While, 27 percent said they'd rock trucker hats again, it looks like hoop earrings won't be making a comeback. See some of the eBay survey's findings below. Do you agree with them? Click through to Esquire to see all the results.
