Forbes just dropped its list of the world's most valuable brands, and Louis Vuitton capped off the top of the list at number 10, ranking higher than any other fashion company on the list. Other fashion brands to make the cut include Nike (21), H&M (31), Gucci (39), and Hermès (47).

To determine a brand's value, Forbes used pre-tax earnings for each company, and then compared that amount to what an average brand in its respective industry would gain. Forbes was seeking out brands that "allows the company to charge a premium price," according to the publication. So, it makes sense that brands with the most recognizable logos, like Louis Vuitton and Nike, would appear on the list.

Tech brands took almost all the top spots, with Coke being the only outsider in the top five. Apple, Microsoft, Google, and IBM rounded out the highest earners, with Apple is worth almost twice as much as any other brand.

Previously, Forbes listed fashion's richest members in its billionaire list, where Amancio Ortega of Zara came out on top, followed by LVMH's Bernard Arnault, H&M president Stefan Persson, and Phil Knight from Nike.
