A.P.C. has cooked up something special for men (and women).

The French label is releasing new bags—a pouch, really—made from lamb leather. The pouch, available in five colorways (black, white, yellow, grey, and khaki), is the perfect accessory to store all your valuables. And at $135, it won't empty out your pockets completely.

Even better, though, is the name of the bag: "Douche Bag"—a name that perhaps stemmed from the fact that, as A.P.C. designer Jean Touitou explained, people really thought the French label was really releasing a brand of bags named "Douche, Paris."

I find it difficult to write about this, since it's impossible to translate the French expression "mise en abyme"—but that's what it is. So I will simply say this about the "Douche Bag" bag: Product description: an excellent all-purpose pouch, for men. (Women can use it too). The name meaning: those who don't say, and those who say don't know.

P.S. It made me laugh so hard when I found out people really thought we were launching a brand of bags named “Douche, Paris”… whenever I am depressed, this does like 3 Xanax to me."

The bags will be available early next week at all A.P.C. stores in the U.S, as Jean Touitou and his IDGAF philosophy continue to kill it.
