Filson is launching the Filson Restoration Department to repurpose its vintage bags. The Seattle-based brand enlisted expert craftsman to take materials from worn Filson bags and create one-of-a-kind items that are as durable as new, and as beautifully beat-in as a bag you've had your whole life.

The selection of bags and pouches are all hand-made, so, they come in limited quantities, and offer unparalleled detailing, including uniquely weathered fabrics, intricate stitching, and never before seen color combinations due to the varied source material. Filson has been producing bags since 1897, so the Filson Restoration Department has a large, and rich archive to pull from.

The first set of bags and pouches will be available on Filson's website on Nov. 17. The stock is sure to sell out quick, but Filson will replenish the supply every subsequent Monday morning.
