Longtime collaborators Danner and Tanner Goods continue their prolific relationship with the release of the Danner Light Sherman boot—the fourth collaborative effort from the Oregon-based companies.

For this season, the brands strayed from the technical-hiking-boot pike—as seen in their previous releases—in the interest of delivering a more versatile design that easily transitions from the rugged outdoors to the city streets. It's a quality that perfectly reflects the dual environments of Portland, where the each boot was crafted.

Continuing the brands’ affinities for timeless silhouettes that are as durable as they are good looking, the Danner Light Sherman features a solid leather and suede upper with a reversed denim panel, as well as a lightweight brown crepe sole for increased comfort. So not only will these look tough, they’ll also go easy on your feet.

Check out the boots details in the images below. The design will officially at the Tanner Goods flagship stores in Portland and Los Angeles as well as online on Oct. 11.
