"It ain't Ralph tho!" is about to go from an infamous meme to being immortalized in a Kanye West verse. On the track "Can't Stop" on Theophilus London's upcoming Vibes album, Ye's guest verse repeats the phrase that was first born in a notorious interview with Sway Calloway back in November of last year and launched a thousand memes.
On the track, Kanye opens his verse with, "Everything she was doing was cool, but it ain't Ralph though. Might've gave me head in the pool, that ain't your mouth though."
And towards the end of the feature, he rhymes "It's aight but it ain't Ralph though, and unless your money talking keep your mouth closed."
It turns out, Ralph Lauren just heard about Yeezy's legendary phrase, saying, "That’s very cool. Well, that’s great. If I were to cater to Kanye, he would know that I’m catering to him. The fact that I make what I make—he gets it. He gets the quality and he respects it. And I think that’s the key, why I work all the time is to do that. That’s the fun."
But even if he had stayed ignorant of the "It ain't Ralph tho!" quote, it sounds like he would've gotten familiar real quick once London's album dropped this fall.
