If you're looking for a backpack to pick up for the upcoming fall season, you really can't do any better than Everlane's Snap Backpack.
Based out of California, Everlane prides itself on the transparency of its products—from factory to your mailbox. In the case of the the brand's Snap Backpack, the piece is produced in a luxury luggage factory in Dongguan, China, headed up by a Mr. Hong (with whom the brand has personally established a relationship with). Sure, the bag is made in China, but Everlane has taken the time to invest in both knowing the factory where its gear comes from and knowing who they are partnering with.
Transparency aside, the bag boasts sturdy twill construction with snap-top closures. Details include a laptop pocket, double side pockets, an exterior pocket, and leather detailing in zippers, the handle and accented throughout. There's plenty of colors too, so if you are someone who wants to stray away from the classics of gray, navy, or black, you can try something like "terracotta" (if you're into that).
