Comedian Casey Jane Ellison hosts Ovation's "Touching the Art," a new online talkshow for the artworld that features an all-female panel discussing various facets of the art world and all its players.

The show, according to Dazed, is meant to be funny but also attempts to "raise bigger questions about the art industry, minus the bullshit that usually accompanies it." Ellison says that she is interested in "exploring and propagating" how the art world is "actually pretty tight" by showing that sense of humor and also sharing insights from women who are important and wise members of the culture.

The pilot episode below features photographer and professor Catherine OpieJori Finkel of the New York Times, and ForYourArt founder Bettina Korek discussing celebrity-made art and its value, whether or not art alienates the general public, and how women are treated in the art world, among other things.
