SASQUATCHfabrix and Nepenthes' New Hand-Printed Shirts Will Bring Back Memories of Art Class

SASQUATCHfabrix and Nepenthes ditch the collegiate themes from its past "Chiling" collection for DIY hand-prints and dyed shirts.

If you were one of those kids who loved art class or just appreciate a good handmade product, SASQUATCHfabrix and Nepenthes have something in store for you. The duo's ongoing “Chilling” collaboration moves from customized, collegiate-themed apparel to floral motifs in the new collection.

Instead of cutting away crewneck sweaters and turning them into cardigans, this crafty project involves hand-printed fabrics featuring silk-screened prints that look like botanical illustrations. Due to the imperfections in each print, no two shirts are exactly alike. The cowboy button-downs' unique colors come from fabrics that are dyed with a second treatment. They release at Nepenthes Japan on Aug. 1.
