In what is definitely one of the most random Photoshop series we have ever seen, Marina Abramovic becomes the face of faux-advertisements for over-the-counter meds like Aspirina, Icy Hot, and Theraflu. We know what you're thinking. "Who the hell thinks of this stuff?"
The artist responsible for this random yet hilarious project is Vladimir Maislin. Although we don't know very much about Maislin, he apparently has quite the imagination and a knack for Photoshop.
He Photoshopped pictures of painkillers into photos of Abramovic performing some of her most recognizable works, like The Artist Is Present and 512 Hours. The series actually works quite well since Abramovic's grimace and agonized expression makes it seem like she could use a pill or two.
