One Chicago mom went all out to make sure her son had the perfect prom.
According to the Orlando Park police, a 43-year-old woman stole clothing worth nearly $900 just to buy her son prom shoes. The woman told cops that she intended on re-selling all 93 of the items of clothing, which she shoplifted from Victoria's Secret Pink.
The woman has been charged with one count of felony retail theft, one count of possession of an anti-theft-detection device and is due in court on July 28. No word on whether or not her son still made it to his prom but we're wondering why his mom didn't just steal the shoes. Also, this is kind of an awesome mom move, no?
