It's been a while since we last saw a mural from Vhils. The artist is currently in his home country of Portugal, where he recently completed not one but two pieces—his latest being this massive portrait of a stone-faced man in Lisbon.

To celebrate the upcoming opening of his show "Dissection" at Electricity Museum, Vhils created the piece using a bit of paint and his signature technique of chiseling and etching away at the concrete wall with heavy machinery.

Click through the photos to see up-close, detailed shots of the artist's latest piece, and get stoked for his show, on view from July 5 to Oct. 5, 2014.
