A statue erected recently in Kazakhstan was swiftly removed the next day after locals took to social media to share their honest opinions of the piece. Made to honor 19th century writer Abay Kunanbayev and scientist Yevgeny Mikhaelis, the statue was said to resemble two hobbits taking a selfie.

According to BBC News, one of the sculptors blamed time restraints for the failed design. "We were in a huge rush, and look what happened." The government said that the sculptors "deviated from the agreed design" and have been told to correct it. We have our fingers crossed for something twice as hilarious the second time around.
