Manchester-based artist Mishka Henner has been logging serious hours on Google Earth lately. His current project involves searching for footage of the world’s major oil fields and painstakingly stitching them together to form incredible aerial tapestries. This series involved a lot of time scanning satellite images of Texas because it boasts some insanely large gas and oil fields.

Henner's work will be on display at Carroll Fletcher Gallery through May 31, and in Prix Pictet at the V&A from May 22 through June 14.
