For the new June issue of ELLE, French designer Hedi Slimane shot Maleficent star Angelina Jolie in stunning black-and-white without tricks, magic, and facial prostheses (though her natural cheekbones are pretty close to those of the character she portrays). In addition to gracing the cover, Jolie will also appear in a 16-page portfolio in over 20 editions of ELLE worldwide.

For the pages of the magazine, Jolie spoke with ELLE deputy editor Maggie Bullock about raising a team of children, her love for Brad Pitt, and how her life has changed since her early days in the spotlight. In viewing the photos, it's hard to believe that the actress is creeping up on 40 and that she has been on our screens for the past 32 years.

To see more of Slimane's awesome photos, grab the digital copy of the publication today or check your local newstands starting May 13.
