Swedish engineer Per Nilsson is the man behind POP, a new brand dedicated to making typographic prints. POP’s latest creations include a series of prints that combine two fields of design: architecture and typography. Each print glorifies a single typeface by depicting the font along with a landmark that it corresponds to.

For instance, the font Futura was designed in 1927 by German artist Paul Renner. It was lauded as “the typeface for our time,” and one of its characteristic features is the pointy tips on the letters A and M. In homage to such design features, Nilsson includes pyramids at the bottom of his Futura poster.

The prints are available online at Nordic Design Collective for around $60 a piece.
