Melbourne-based street artist Rone recently completed, what's been said to be, the largest mural ever completed by a single person in Australia.

Always doing big things no matter where in the world he is, Melbourne-based artist Rone recently opened his first solo exhibition in UK. Months before that, he completed a mural on a wall in Berlin, the largest one he has ever attempted. Now, Rone is back in his home city, where he just wrapped up what people are calling the biggest mural in Australia ever made by one person.

"This is one of those walls you dream of. When it was offered, I took it with a grain of salt as not to get my hopes up," the artist wrote of the wall on 80 Collins St. " ... There has been a few things like this talked about in the past that just never happened," he added.

The feat took a grand total of a week. Rone worked on it for 10 hours every day until the massive, 9-story wall was done. We can't wait to see what's next for him.
