If you have ever participated in the Hindu religious festival of Holi, then this video will feel very familiar and even more awesome. Chris Cairns completed this "kinetic installation" project for Schwartz Flavour Shots, herb packets that come in various blends depending on the style of food you're making. Cairns worked with a pyrotechnics engineer to rig large sacks of spices to explode and fill the air with colored plumes of flavored smoke. The explosions were slowed down and synced with music composed specifically for the video.
