Belgian street artist ROAattempts to bring attention to the problems many species are facing due to people-driven causes such as pollution and hunting. In his signature monochromatic style, using somber black and white, ROA depicts endangered, dying, and dead animals of various species.

“I wanted to draw attention to how they and many other species become a victim of hunting and pollution,” he says of his animal-themed works that appears across the world. One particularly touching image features a narwhal tangled in a fishing line with a hook through his fin.
