Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama recently opened an exhibition that spans all three locations of the David Zwirner Gallery in New York City. Entitled "I Who Have Arrived In Heaven," the exhibition features 27 new large-scale paintings as well as two mirrored infinity rooms and a video installation titled Manhattan Suicide Addict. Most of Kusama's paintings in this exhibit are larger than 6'x6' and all are brightly colored and reflect her interest in "cosmic realms." The two infinity rooms are popular elements of the exhibition, one of which (Love Is Calling) is being shown in the United States for the first time. Kusama creates intense immersive environments that you really need to experience if you can. The exhibition opened on November 8 and will run through December 21.
