We’ve seen glow-in-the-dark skateparks, indoor skateparks, and historic skateparks. Now, we have the sculptural skatepark.

Wanting to create a functional skatepark that went beyond the normal quarter pipes and banks of a traditional design, the design firm Atelier Peekaboo worked closely with skateboarders to come up with this sculptural skatepark design. Jagged edges, smooth lines, and colliding angles come together to create something that transforms perceptions of the skatepark, as one travels around it. When viewed from different positions, the design of this park looks alternatingly abstract and bold.

This concrete composition, known as the AUSLN Skatepark, is located in the City of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Check out some more images above and more information about the designers on their website
