In the wake of a racial profiling scandal, meetings between Barneys CEOs, Al Sharpton and NAACP members, an overhaul of store policies and two announcements from Hov comes the unveiling of the Jay Z x Just Don caps.

Barneys, which came under fire after two people revealed accounts that they'd been harassed by employees and New York City Police on racial grounds, has scrambled to weather the storm of media attention while simultaneously trying to release its collaboration with Jay Z. Meanwhile, Jay's been biding his time, chillin' on two highly crafted official statements amid pressure from the public to renege his effort with the luxury department store.

But as of Friday, it's clear that Jay Z's line with Barneys isn't going anywhere - in fact, it's led to the creation of a council "specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling," along with a 75 percent increase in funds donated to the Sean Carter Foundation.

And with that, the retail giant can go ahead and put out the goods.

The Jay Z x Just Don hats are, much like the names that designed them, lavish. They're like caviar for your dome: made of either suede or leather, the caps come with a python brim, white, red or black color palattes and a gold buckle on the back. This Just Don rarity can be yours for a cool seven hundo, and joins the list of designers - including Rick Owens, Proenza Schouler and Acne - working with Jay and Barneys on the extensive collection.

Cop here.
