It's been almost a month since we last received a taste, (just the slightest) of the collaboration betweenNew Balance and Detroit-based Burn Rubber owners Rick Williams and Roland "Ro" Coit. But now, the trio's offering up - here's a whole forkful. Nah, in fact, take the plate: these sneakers are that good.

To pay homage to the great boxing history of Detroit, New Balance called on Williams and Coit - who released a YouTube reality show produced by Eminem about their sneaker shop in the Michigan city earlier this year - to help create a new take on the 577. To change the silhouette that's arguably been New Balance's most popular style, designers used puffed-up brown, black and white leather to add texture. Black laces,  the signature "NB577" stamp, an off-white midsole and gum outsole below completes the look.

Reed Space NYC released these limited edition kicks at noon today. According to the store's site, purchases will be made on a "first come, first served" basis, so get over there if you aren't waiting in line already.
