Two years ago, Swoon and New Orleans Airlift launched a Kickstarter to create The Music Box, a "temporary orchestral shanytown" that saw 15,000 visitors and over 80 collaborations from musicians including Mannie Fresh, Andrew W.K., Jim White, Aurora Nealand, Nicky Da B, and a host of others.
Following the success of that project, they have launched another Kickstarter to create Dithyrambalina, a musical village project made of five structures with the advantage of being mobile so that more people can experience "the wonder and possibility of musical architecture." The project is a little over 50% funded with 14 days to go, so check out the video below and visit the Kickstarter page to learn more.
