Tomorrow, London-based starchitect Zaha Hadid's futuristic boutique designed for the American shoe company Stuart Weitzman will open up in Milan, and from the images we've seen so far, the store looks more like a spaceship than a place to try on shoes.

As part of the kickoff for Milan Fashion Week, the opening will be hosted by Stuart Weitzman himself and Kate Moss, the face (and feet) of the brand's fall campaign.

The 3,000 square-foot space is one of five stores that Hadid plans to build for Weitzman in the next year, including locations in Hong Kong, Rome, and New York. "The design is divided into invariant and adaptive elements to establish unique relationships within each worldwide location, yet also enable every store to be recognized as a Stuart Weitzman space," Hadid told Deezeen.

Weitzman hopes that the stores will offer shoppers a "one-of-a-kind retail experience."

The Weitzman stores are just another addition to Hadid's growing international architecture empire. Her firm is behind the 2020 Olympic Stadium in Japan as well as a new apartment complex on the High Line in New York. Hadid opened the Zaha Hadid Design Gallery in May, and in June, she bought the London Design Museum for just over $12 million.
