In January, Chaz Bundick, the artist who goes by Toro y Moi, released his third studio album Anything In Return. Today Toro y Moi's label, Carpark Records, posted a trippy video on YouTube for "Rose Quartz," the fourth track on the album. Using a mesmerizing stop-motion method, the video makes paintings by Lauren Gregory come alive and move to the beat. Pigments swirl and dance, as the painted version of Toro y Moi bobs along to his smooth synths. The video is a sensory overload of color, mixing different styles of painting to offer a visual version of Toro y Moi's song.
