New York-based artist Todd James will present his second solo show at Galería Javier López in Madrid entitled "Business As Usual." The exhibition coincides with APERTURA2013 and will features works from various points in James' career, from his days tagging trains to his museum shows around the world. The title of the show refers to the idea that "despite recent apocalyptic fervor, the status quo maintains its dominance throughout the world." His work continues to explore ideas of morality, boundaries, and "inequalities of the human experience" with an added element of humor.

Featured in the show is a recreated installation called Vandal's Bedroom, a graffiti-filled room that represents his early influences and also relates to the larger themes in his work. The show opens September 20 and runs through November 29. For more information, check out the Galería Javier López exhibition page.
