Designers Jonathan Ive and Marc Newson spent the past year and a half designing and curating objects for U2 vocalist Bono's (RED) charity auction. Bono, a known philantropist, is holding the auction to raise money for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Ive (senior vice president of design at Apple) and Newson (a leading designer from Australia) worked together to create pieces exclusively for the auction, like the solid Apple earbuds pictured above, a Leica Digital Rangefinder camera, a Range Rover, and a customized Steinway & Sons Parlour Grand Piano, also pictured. Other pieces up for auction include an Hermès Cavale saddle, Damien Hirst Spin Chairs designed by Jasper Morrison, a Russian cosmonaut suit, and a bottle of Dom Pérignon with a custom made cooler.

The auction is going down at Sotheby's in New York on November 23, with key pieces from the sale traveling to London and Hong Kong ahead of the event on November 18.
