Emerson College student Jody Steel has become an Internet sensation for her incredibly detailed drawings done on an unconventional surface: her own thigh. Steel draws animals, flowers, and other things that interest her, but the drawings that have gotten the most attention are her pop culture portraits. Breaking Bad's Walter White (Bryan Cranston), Joseph Gordon Levitt, Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Neil Gaiman, and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) of Game of Thrones, among others have been drawn on Steel's thigh, photographed, and washed away to make room for the next piece of art. According to an interview with the Boston Globe, Steel has already received several job offers thanks to her art, but she can not say with whom because of nondisclosure agreements.

While Steel became famous for drawing on her self in class, we don't recommend you follow her lead. For more work from the artist on skin and various other surfaces, visit her Facebook page.
