New York City-based artist Rostarr uses a mix of techniques to creating amazing calligraphic geometry for his incredible murals. Following his show in April with Saber at Opera Gallery, the artist now presents a mural taking part in the Absolut Open Canvasinitiative in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Rostarr's mural features wide brush strokes with black paint, creating an iconic look of interactive shapes. Although his work features the many shapes, he avoids being too complex as everything flows together, and our eyes remain comfortable.

Twenty other artists were invited to contribute to the outdoor art exhibition on North 6th street, while the event will later move to San Francisco for another round of art on the street. Submit to win a chance to have your work featured in the west coast event.
