An average snapback hat from your favorite brand should cost no more than $50 dollars. When Rick Owens gets a hold of the streetwear staple, expect prices to be set at more than double. The designer is known to turn basic essentials and give it his signature avant-garde twist. And while there is nothing weird about the current 5-panel hats that are part of the Rick Owens DRKSHDW fall 2013 collection, they are certainly far from your average snapback hats.

The silhouette remains the same, while the materials used lean towards lux. Instead of the regular mesh, cotton, and plastic, these caps use all sorts of leather fabrics like lamb and calf. As for the snapback feature you can find bull leather for the straps and metal clasps for the snaps. For a premium hat expect a price tag to match. If you feel like dropping triple-digits for snapback, visit the LN-CC website. The prices start at $304 and tops off at $439.
