Oscar de la Renta Doesn't Think Anthony Weiner Should Get Another Chance

Truth?

All eyes are on New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, who's under heavy fire for his new sexting scandal. If you haven't heard, Weiner admitted that he exchanged sexually explicit photos and text messages via the Internet with women who were not his wife. He also fessed up to using the hilarious pen name Carlos Danger

Many have voiced their opinion on the matter, some even poking fun at Weiner. Slate has created what it's calling "The Carlos Danger name generator," which readers can use to get their very own pseudonym by simply entering their first and last names. Next week's issue of The New Yorker features Weiner ontop of the Empire State building, King Kong style, sexting.

Now, even famed designer Oscar de la Renta has spoken out about the scandal. During his appearance on CBS This Morning, he told hosts Charlie Rose and Norah O'Donnell he thinks Weiner has had enough chances.

"I feel very, very sorry for Huma, because I think she’s a wonderful, great girl. And I wasn’t sure they had spoken to anyone about it. She had never disclosed it with anyone ... You know, I think, in life, people do deserve a second chance. A third and a fourth? I doubt it," de la Renta told Rose and O'Donnell.

Anyway, de la Renta is certainly not alone here. Slate conducted a survey and asked New Yorkers whether or not they would still vote for Weiner after learning about his recent behavior. About 60 percent said they are "not at all likely" to vote for him, comapred to 35 percent who said they would not have elected him even without knowledge of the scandal.
