On the nights of June 14 and 15, "Luna Corona" occurred at 9th Avenue and 15th Street in New York City. Corona Extra launched the campaign with advertising agency Cramer-Krasselt, and worked with the top astrologists, planetariums, and universities to calculate the positioning of the moon to capture a moment where it would align with an image of a beer. The perfect moments occurred on the estimated nights, as the bottle's image was completed with the alignment, no longer lonely and missing the final piece to its picture. Thorough research and calculation successfully landed the lime on the Corona, and marked the importance of the slice's accompaniment to the beer.
