Father-to-be Kanye West may be on the cusp of the next big technological and architectural trend. He is working with the director of the Living Architecture Lab at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, David Benjamin, on a confidential project that involves a "new type of movie theater and 3D entertainment experience."

Last year, Kanye worked with architectural firm OMA and designer Shohei Shigematsu to create a seven-screen theater at the Cannes Film Festival where he debuted his "Cruel Summer" short film. Since his new album is reportedly done, can we expect a similar short film or something like the visuals that accompanied his last solo and collaborative albums, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Watch the Thone? Or maybe he and Kim are just looking to upgrade a new home in time for the baby and Kanye's cameo alongside Will Ferrell in Anchorman 2?

Whatever it is, expect it to be expensive and impressive because that's how Yeezy does it.
