Kenny Scharf does what he wants. Whether that be getting doughnuts made for his upcoming "Kolors" show at Paul Kasmin Gallery or painting a Lockheed Jetstar as he talks space travel, he's always fearlessly taking it to the next level. For The Boneyard Project, an art exhibition that has over 30 international artists reinvigorating decommissioned planes in the Arizona desert, Scharf worked his magic and turned the plane into a shark-like creature. He also speaks of his artistic process, poignantly concluding with, "I never know what I'm gonna do. I just..kind of...do it."
