Studio Fabio Novembre for Gufram has created the Jolly Roger armchair, shaped like a large skull. The foamed polyurethane seat is to be displayed during Milan Design Week. On the topic of skulls, the designer says, "When people ask me why I wear a skull on my finger, I always answer that it belonged to my grandfather, who was a pirate, and I think I came to believe it myself. Everybody should have at least one pirate grandfather in their family tree." It's nice to see his design concept come to life with such a personal narrative.
