Ebbets Field Flannels has become the go-to source for sports gear from years past. The Seattle-based brand's gear is so accurate that it was asked to make the costumes for 42, the Jackie Robinson biopic.
The film, which releases April 12, features handmade gear from the brand—including uniforms from Robinson's iconic Negro League team, the Montreal Royals. Considering that Jay-Z is such a large Robinson fan: "I jack, I rob, I sin, ah man, I'm Jackie Robinson, except when I run base, I dodge the pen," it would be ultra fresh if they broke Hova off with a couple of the jerseys. We can only hope.
