These days, it's tough to tell what's real and what's not in photos, and Kevin Cooley doesn't make it much easier with his recent series titled, Light's Edge. In the photo series, amidst an anonymous winter landscape, is an ominous beam of light hitting the earth from what appears to be the sky. So, what's the catch? By using a long exposure and a military-grade emergency flare, Cooley was able to create a number of surreal photos manipulated photographically versus digitally. He fooled us!
