Italian artist Andrea Mastrovito reinvents the collage with his most recent installation titled "La Magnifica Ossessione (Magnificent Obsession)." This installation explores pop culture, iconography, and comments on contemporary art. The piece titled "Sotto il Vestito Niente, Ma Proprio Niente" translating to "Under the Dress There is Nothing, Absolutely Nothing," depicts Monroe in her infamous 1954 shot above the New York Subway. The image of the icon reveals the glamour of film and the reality of it—flat and lifeless under a fan. Or does it?
