In March of 2013, Tattoo Nation will hit select theaters nation wide. The film presents the streetwise history of black and grey tattooing, following three pioneers—Charlie Cartwright, Jack Rudy, and Freddy Negrete—as they brought their fine-line technique to the wider tattoo world. Tattoo Nation features archival footage, original interviews, and a vibrant musical score.
Some of the music comes from Slick Jacken and the Psycho Realm, who are currently touring Europe in support of both the film and their new release Terror Tapes 2. "We're honored to be a part of this film," says Jacken, "and have our music associated with a story that puts this culture in a
positive light."
