There are many heritage and Made in USA products in today's menswear market, which is something we won't complain about. But it is hard to find a brand like Filson that has been doing things as long as it has, and still makes garments to its original quality specifications.
Michael Williams of A Continuous Lean recently had the opportunity to visit the brand's famed Seattle factory and see what goes into a Filson product. From Tin Cloth bags to leather goods, Williams was able to witness behind-the-scenes access at a brand that proudly proclaims "Might as Well Have the Best."
