3D printing is a growing, frequently discussed trend both in and out of the art world. While more serious and controversial uses (such as guns) are being examined ethically, some people have found more light-hearted uses for the process. Just in time for the holidays, Ralf Holleis made a video showing 3D printing of Christmas cookies. Unfortunately, it only prints the dough (of course), which you then have to bake, but it's still very creative and holiday-appropriate.
