The latest Google Maps update is a helpful one—it allows users to see the floor plans and layouts of many of the world's art museums, including 30 in the United States alone (such as the American Museum of Natural History in New York, the Art Institute in Chicago, and Freer Gallery of Art in Washington). The update additionally includes interior views for shopping malls, airports, train stations, and convention centers, with museums being an undoubtedly welcomed addition. Institutions are now also invited to upload their own floor plans, should they want to be a part of this ambitious program. See the entire list of included museums here.
