Ai Weiwei is no stranger to the medium of film. Just last month, he parodied Psy's viral hit, "Gangnam Style," showing the world his humor and cultural relevancy. Today, he released a film titled, "How to Scientifically Remove a Shiny Screw with Chinese Characteristics in Eighteen Turns." So far, people believe it's a statement against socialism and the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

The video comes on the heels of Ai's decision to return cash donations from his supporters (meant to help him repay tax debts to the government) and an article he wrote for CNN expressing, in the context of the 2012 Presidential Election, that despite its flaws, America should be proud of its political progress. It also comes during the first North American survey of his work at the Hirschhorn Museum in Washington, D.C.

Hopefully we receive more from Ai Weiwei soon, despite the fact that he is currently not allowed to leave China.
