Designer Phillip Lim is doing more than just releasing a lookbook and video teasers for his fall 2012 collection. The man behind the celebrity-favorite brand has co-authored a comic book with John Ostrander (author of Suicide Squad, Grimjack and Star Wars: Legacy). Drawn by Jan Duursema of Star Wars comic book fame, Kill The Night, as it's called, will feature characters solely wearing pieces from Lim's fall collection. Much like the Sin City and V for Vendetta inspired line, the comic tells the story of duality and metamorphosis, day and night, black and white, love and betrayal.

Check out the thumbs above to get a sneak peek at some of the pages of the epic comic. Kill The Night officially launches Sept. 6, and will have limited distribution. Sign up at 3.1philliplim.com to get your hands on a copy. [nymag]
